About Us

Goals

Each of the Peaceful School Programs and Trainings works toward achieving the following 3 goals:

1. The creation and support of peaceful school communities where students, staff, parents and caregivers will increase their ability to understand, demonstrate, promote and integrate the core social skills and resiliency traits of Cooperation, Assertions, Responsibility, Empathy and Self-control in their everyday life.
2. The creation and support of school wide democratic processes that engage students and staff as active citizens who participate actively in the management and maintenance of the school community.
3. The creation and support of structured communication processes that enable students, staff, parents and caregivers to increase their ability to recognize, manage and resolve conflict peacefully and positively.
